Job Title: Teacher Associate

Location: Delhi (Online teaching with occasional office visits)

Position Summary:

The Teacher Associate will be responsible for conducting online classes and managing academic activities for multiple batches of students. The role includes teaching, mentoring, doubt resolution, and inspiring students to achieve their learning goals.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Classroom Teaching & Management

- Conduct online classes via Zoom.
- Prepare presentation slides and deliver engaging lessons for approximately 20 hours per week.
- Explain concepts using real-life examples to enhance student understanding.
- Monitor students’ progress, classwork, and homework to ensure learning objectives are met.
- Encourage self-discipline and punctuality in the learning environment.

2. Mentoring, Career Guidance & Academic Support

- Build strong relationships with students through one-on-one interactions.
- Help students set achievable academic goals and track their progress.
- Analyze test scores and classroom performance to provide feedback and improvement strategies.
- Guide students in making informed career choices based on their interests.

3. Parent Engagement

- Provide regular updates on student performance to parents through calls or meetings.
- Conduct Parent-Teacher Meetings (PTMs) every quarter to discuss student progress.

4. Data Analysis & Student Performance Tracking

- Maintain records of classroom and test performance using an online learning management system.
- Identify high and low-performing students and provide targeted support.
- Analyze reasons for academic challenges and implement solutions.

5. Special Projects & Initiatives

- Contribute to creating a dynamic learning culture by organizing expert guest sessions, field trips, scientific debates, and other interactive learning activities.

Requirements:

Education:

B.Sc./M.Sc./ B.E./B.Tech in a relevant subject.

​

Experience:

1-2 years of teaching experience in JEE and NEET coaching institutes is mandatory.

​

Skills & Competencies:

- Strong subject knowledge in Physics, Chemistry, or Mathematics for Class XI & XII.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships with students and stakeholders.
- Strong communication skills (spoken and written).
- Ability to effectively use online teaching tools and basic computer software.
- Access to a quiet space, a laptop, and a stable internet connection (minimum upload speed of 2 MBPS).
