As an Audit Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in facilitating the smooth execution of audits by providing essential data, technical, and administrative support to auditors. You will leverage your expertise in data extraction, analysis, and audit documentation tools to contribute to the audit process’s effectiveness and accuracy.

Key Responsibilities

Audit Support:

​

Provide relevant audit-related information and documentation to auditors as required.

Assist field auditors with data extraction from SAP systems.

Data Extraction & Analysis:

​

Write SQL scripts for data extraction and create basic reports in Snowflake.

Perform preliminary data analysis to identify trends and potential issues.

Audit Documentation:

​

Assist auditors in preparing and maintaining working papers using audit tools.

Help document audit findings and recommendations in formal written reports.

Tools & Technology Utilization:

​

Leverage audit tools such as Snowflake, TeamMate, Alteryx, and Power BI to enhance audit processes.

Ensure accuracy and consistency through quality control procedures.

Follow-Up Actions:

​

Track and support the implementation of corrective actions to resolve audit findings.

Maintain documentation for follow-ups and corrective actions.

Stakeholder Collaboration:

​

Interact with diverse stakeholders to ensure the effective collection and communication of information.

Qualifications and Skills

Educational Background:

​

Degree or Postgraduate qualification in Commerce, Accountancy, or Finance.

Partially qualified CA/CMA candidates are preferred.

Technical Skills:

​

Recognized SQL certification (mandatory).

Basic SAP user knowledge is essential.

Proficiency in data analysis tools and audit software.

Experience:

​

Minimum of 3+ years of relevant work experience in audit support or a similar role.

Soft Skills:

​

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Motivated, energetic, and eager to learn.

Additional Knowledge:

​

Familiarity with audit tools like TeamMate and Snowflake is an advantage.

Strong command of the English language.
